Mom’s Who Worry!

Do you feel like all you do since you became pregnant or had your baby is worry?

We’ve created a space just for you!

In these 10 week group therapy sessions, our counsellor Mercedes will share all the tips and tricks you need to work with your worries, including techniques that are proven to help decrease anxiety and put a stop to how you’ve been feeling!

You will also have a chance to meet other moms that are going through similar challenges as you, and start to build your community.

Moms who worry, a therapeutic group to support prenatal and postpartum anxiety

What you can expect:

  • It is a 10 week therapeutic group; once sessions start, the group is closed to new members.

  • Sessions will be held in person at The Perinatal Wellness Centre.

  • There will be 2 groups held; one for pregnant folks and the second for folks in the postpartum period.

  • It is a way for you to build your community and meet others going through similar challenges as you.

  • It is a safe space where you can be yourself.

  • You’ll learn proven techniques to help you reduce your stress and anxiety.

  • Prenatal Group - here we will help you get ready for birth and for the postpartum period mentally and emotionally.

  • Postpartum Group - in these sessions we will help you process anything you need to process from your birth experience and have the best postpartum you can.

2024 Dates & Details:

  • Prenatal Group - Tuesdays March 26th to June 4th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. (For folks that are due in June or after).

  • Postpartum Group - Wednesdays March 27th to June 5th from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Babies are welcome if you would like to bring them with you.

Investment: $450 / Introductory investment $333

**These sessions can be billed through your medical benefits if you have coverage for counselling.
